A Months Worth...
I'm not even going to condense it for you.
SLC March 6-8
We went to the Jazz game on Friday and they won! It was their 10th straight win. We went with Dallin's whole family and it was so much fun. We rode the trax and everything! We sat like 2 rows from the top but it was still lots of fun!

Dallin's lil bro made a paper airplane that wasn't the straightest flier so Dallin thought he would show him up and make a "real" paper airplane.

Sean March 18 & 22
My little brother Sean got home from his mission on Wed. His flight didn't get in until 10:20ish and it was waaaaay past everyone's bed times.

Then Sunday we had to get our butt's out of bed way early so we could make it out to Leeds by 9. I can barely make it to my own ward at 9 that's only a block away. Good thing they were good talks. Ha.

To prepare for the Brunch on Sunday my friend Crystal helped me make some cool Jell-o. This is what it kind of resembled.

So of course we had to go to the brand spankin' new Wal-Mart out in Hurricane. Can you believe Washington County has 3 Super Wal-Marts! Crazy! It was fun and I took these pictures to document it.

Also at Wal-Mart we bought some Bubbles because I just had to get this Light Saber of a bubble wand.

Stunning.

Lego Indiana Jones! Right on! And doesn't the nice organized candy make you excited. Like a childlike excitement. Much like the M&M factory and their organized rows of M&M's. It's exciting.
Also at Wal-Mart we bought some Bubbles because I just had to get this Light Saber of a bubble wand.
I just love these girls!

Superbowl Highlights...
Which of course would be the commercials. I'm not a huge football fan but my husband is. Our friends throw some sweet football parties so I like to go and hang out. This time I ended up actually watching most of it. It was pretty good. I don't think this is my fav commercial but I liked it a lot. It reminds me of Zoolander, which I love.

My Childhood Soundtrack...
So I've been working on finding songs I listened to when I was a kid - just because music back then was GREAT. And I remembered there was this sweet instrumental song I used to listen to on 98.1 all the time when I was about 8. I had NO idea how to find it because it doesn't have any lyrics and I never knew the name of the song. Somehow I found it. So here it is.
I have also made a playlist of songs from my childhood though adolescence that is on here. It's at the bottom of the page. I have a lot of great memories from those songs. Check em' out.
Also, the song I think she likes me - the one I grew up with was done by the Moffats but I could only find the one from Billy Gillman. The moffats one is better.

Lost...
Yes it was really good. If you haven't seen it from the beginning, I suggest you do. It's just one of those shows. I'm excited because there was an episode before it kind of explaining previous seasons and it said that the next seasons will be answering all the questions the previous seasons put out.

Baby let's Cruise...
For Christmas, Dallin got me one of the best Christmas presents ever! A 7 Day Princess Cruise to the Mexican Riviera! It was SO much fun and much needed. This was my first cruise ever and we both LOVED it! I got a little bit sick the first day and last day but Dallin was fine throughout the whole trip. It was just about 80 degrees the whole time and it was just great.

There's quite a bit of pictures so I made a few slide shows. They're not too long.
The Ship
I'm a sucker for accents and most everyone on there had one. Like the captain, the crew, the waiters, etc.
Some of the highlights of the fun days at sea were:
- The house band Odysea. The lead singer had a great deep voice. Mmmm.
- The shows they put on were great - the dancers/singers were awesome - especially since the ship moves from time to time.
- Comedian Steve Moris. He is very funny but also a great guitarist as well. He played with the Beach Boys for like 20 years. And I am a BIG fan of the Beach Boys.
- The food was great. We don't have that many (if any) fine dining restaurants in St. George so that was fun. Also - the BUFFET!!! 24 hours!
Puerto Vallarta - Jan 6, 2009
I had a lot of fun making Dallin try and pronounce it. It was great because right when we first got to port, there was a Wal-Mart right there! We got all our shopping done at one spot. Haha not really. But there was a Wal-Mart in every port but I never got to go in one. I just wanted to see what it was like. We took the taxi into the town and walked back to the ship. It was about 3-4 miles. Haha. Hey we needed the exercise!
Mazatlan - Jan 7, 2009
Dallins parents have been to Mazatlan before and they told us we had to go eat at Senior Frogs. It was was quite the experience. Everyone gets balloon hats and bandannas and interesting name tags. It was fun. We also saw this crazy cliff diver. He had to wait forever for the right wave or he would have hit his head because it was so shallow. Once again we took the taxi into town (which was more like a super Golf Cart) and walked back to the ship. This time only about 2-3 miles.
Cabo San Lucas - Jan 8, 2009
Our last port o' call. We only had until 1:00 to be there. Everything was pretty close so we didn't need a taxi at all. They had one of the most beautiful little shopping center/mall I have ever been to. It didn't have the greatest shops but the landscaping was awesome. We stopped in at a haagan dazs for some ice cream. It was over $10 for 4 scoops of ice cream. I never got used to the peso/dollar conversion. I'm afraid I way overpaid for some things.
Some DOS/DONTS we learned (the hard way)-
-Don't try and guess on the conversion rate (take a calculator)
-Don't buy the all you can eat soda & ice cream (total waste) maybe just the soda one but we got the kids one.
-Don't drink the water (luckily we knew that one before hand)
-Carry a lot of change and $1 bills (we tipped a guy $5 cuz it was all we had)
-Make dinner reservations even for anytime dining or plan on going late
-Call your credit card company and tell them you are going out of the country so they don't think someone stole it
