Camping...

So we had a pretty good weekend - I would say it is worth writing about. It always takes me so long to get pictures up because honestly it's king of a hassle. But yah - we went up to Kolob and stayed at some brand new Cabin. So it wasn't exactly camping. Ha. They didn't have water to it yet so we couldn't wash faces/take showers. So in that aspect it really was camping. It was just so relaxing and I totally didn't have any stress/worries at all while I was up there. I didn't really keep track of the time and it was just soooo nice! It was just what I needed. We went with Mike, Jen, Ashley & Quinn and it was just so much fun!

We went up Thur night and got there around 6-7ish. We all wanted to go for a ride before we got dinner goin and it got too dark.

Friday was pretty full of riding around, checkin out the lay of the land on the Arctic Cat, 4-Wheeler and Bike. We also had a little hand gun training. We also went hiking around - we heard there were some ice caves (it is snow that falls into these cracks in the rocks and it never melts because it's nice and cool and never sees sun) but we never found them.

Saturday we explored more of Kolob like Lava Point and the Reservoir. We also saw some Condors but I didn't have my cam with me so we didn't get a shot of them. But I found a pic online just so show yah. They are pretty huge ugly birds. We also went shooting again - this time at some clay pigeons. I got 2 ah thank yah. I won't tell you how many times I tried. Ha.

Sunday we woke up nice and slow, cleaned up and took off around 1. It was nice to go home and take a shower :)

We ate very well the whole time - like I gained a few lbs i'm sure. It was just a blast! I would love to do that again fo sho!
Thanks Ash and Quinn for the good times and sweet cabin!

Memories...

I think this is a great idea - i got it from my friend Ashlie.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

A Big Step...

So when i was younger I was really shy. Like really really shy. And I was afraid to go in public places by myself. Kinda weird I know. Haha. But over the years I have become more and more comfortable about going places on my own.
For instance, I can go shopping anywhere all by my onesy (I still prefer to go clothes/etc. shopping with somebody) But like at Wal-Mart or anyplace like that, I almost prefer to be alone.
I love being at the office all by myself, I think that is partly because when there is someone here, I don't particularly get a long with them all the time.
And that's pretty much all I can think of. Those are big accomplishments for me.

So today, it's my lunch break and I have stuff in the fridge at work I could eat but I didn't really want to stay here. So I go run a few errands and grab a bite to eat. I didn't want to eat it in my car or at the park and I didn't want to take it back to work and it's not like I have anyone to go with sooooo I ate in the restaurant all by myself!
Crazy I know. Haha. Well it was just fast food but that is a tremendous step for me. I have never done that in my entire life! It really wasn't too bad. Except every single person in there was with somebody and they were all staring, pointing and laughing at me. Haha. But yah, i thought that was noteworthy.

I have yet to eat at a real sit-down restaurant by myself and I don't really know if i want to.
One thing I would like to try once is going to a movie - party of 1. That might take awhile.

Independence Day...

Yah so it's a little after the fact but i wanted to write about it anyway.
This was such a great weekend for me! The 2nd & 3rd my boss was gone so it was just me in the office (believe me this is a good thing and I wasn't lonely at all!) and then Friday, the 4th Dallin and I had the whole day off!
This is one of the few times we both have had the same day off, besides Sunday. We slept in, I made breakfast, we cleaned up the house a little, hung out, I think we went shopping for something, and just had fun together!
That evening, we went to our good good friends for a delicious BBQ and Crystal and I took turns lighting off some fireworks and had some fun with the sparklers.

After that we went into St. George and parked on Foremaster to watch the fireworks. Last year we went up on the Airport hill and we definitely learned from that mistake!

Then we went back to Dan and Crystals and played some Rock Band! Our bands name is the "Bills Funkmaster 3000".
K we have Dallin - the very attractive lead Vocalist, Myself - the very talented Lead Guitarist, Dan rocks it out on Bass and Crystal is our awesome Drummer that keeps us together! It was a ton of fun!

A Walk In The Park...

On Monday we worked so hard on our house, just cleaning and organizing that we decided to take a break and walk down to the park. The new St. George park is just a couple of blocks from our house.

This is the first time we have had the time to actually take Scooter on a proper walk. She had so much fun! She was everywhere though. Haha.

Playin in the water.

On the way home.

Time to rest.

We all had so much fun. I'm pretty excited about living in the city again. I've been living clear out in Leeds and Dallin has been living in Hurricane. It's definitely a change to live so close to everything. It's so nice! We'll have to make going to the park a tradition for sure!

Quick Update...

I'm working on getting some pics from our wedding up but just getting them all in one place is quite the struggle. Everything is everywhere! I guess that's what happens when you get married and move. I hope anyways. I hope I'm not the only one that is so disorganized when they move.
So we're pretty much lovin married life! It is pretty different than what i expected but we're doing great. We're currently working on updating our little town home and getting everything organized and moved in. It's a fun project and i really do enjoy doing that kind of thing. I will put some before and after pictures up when i have a moment to take some. Haha. One random thing - when we first went in to evaluate the damage there was a HUGE spiderweb on the living room ceiling! It covered the whole thing. It was so weird. We must have had spider man living there before us. Haha.
Let's see what else...

Sorry i got nothin.
Sorry for no pictures. I really am working on that.
