A Big Step...

So when i was younger I was really shy. Like really really shy. And I was afraid to go in public places by myself. Kinda weird I know. Haha. But over the years I have become more and more comfortable about going places on my own.
For instance, I can go shopping anywhere all by my onesy (I still prefer to go clothes/etc. shopping with somebody) But like at Wal-Mart or anyplace like that, I almost prefer to be alone.
I love being at the office all by myself, I think that is partly because when there is someone here, I don't particularly get a long with them all the time.
And that's pretty much all I can think of. Those are big accomplishments for me.

So today, it's my lunch break and I have stuff in the fridge at work I could eat but I didn't really want to stay here. So I go run a few errands and grab a bite to eat. I didn't want to eat it in my car or at the park and I didn't want to take it back to work and it's not like I have anyone to go with sooooo I ate in the restaurant all by myself!
Crazy I know. Haha. Well it was just fast food but that is a tremendous step for me. I have never done that in my entire life! It really wasn't too bad. Except every single person in there was with somebody and they were all staring, pointing and laughing at me. Haha. But yah, i thought that was noteworthy.

I have yet to eat at a real sit-down restaurant by myself and I don't really know if i want to.
One thing I would like to try once is going to a movie - party of 1. That might take awhile.

I really doubt there were "staring, laughing and pointing at you." But way to go! I HATE going anywhere by myself and it's not that I am shy. I just would much rather have a partner in crime. Josh makes fun of me and tells me to go by myself, but that is why I got married. I am proud, I won't eat or go to a movie by myself.

Good job Tiff! Way to jump out of the circle of your comfort zone.

I know several people who go to movies alone. I don't know that I would do it myself though. And I probably would never go into a real sit-down restaurant to eat alone either. Every time I see someone eating alone I just feel sad, and want to invite them to eat with me. I think it's cool that you were able to conquer your fear and eat alone in a resty! I'm proud of you!

I can't ever imagine going to a movie alone.... I know people that do that, but I could never do it.

I have ate in fast food alone before, but never a nice place. I guess I would never imagine it!!! haha.

But as for shopping, I really hate shopping with other people... it drives me crazy!!!
